Delete your account & data

You can ask RecyclerClub to delete your app account and associated personal information. You can also request deletion of a website valuation request without having an app account.

Request deletion by email

Email admin@recyclerclub.com with the subject RecyclerClub account and data deletion request.

Include the mobile number linked to your account or service request. Add your name and a valuation or pickup reference if you have them. You do not need to reinstall the app.

Open deletion request email

This opens a draft in your email app. Fill in your details and send it to submit the request. Opening the draft does not send a request or delete any data.

No email app configured? Send the same details to the address above using your usual email service. Never include your OTP, password, Aadhaar or PAN documents.

What happens next

  1. We locate your records

    Support uses the mobile number and any reference you provide to identify the account, valuation or pickup request.

  2. We verify ownership

    We may ask you to confirm control of the registered mobile number before processing deletion. This helps prevent someone else from deleting your information.

  3. We process and confirm your request

    Support will confirm the scope and expected completion time after verification, and let you know when deletion is complete or if limited records need to be retained.

Deletion is handled by our support team; this page does not automatically delete an account. Removing the app from your device or signing out does not delete your account or service records.

What the request covers

You can request deletion of your RecyclerClub account and associated personal data, including:

  • Your account profile, including your name and registered mobile number.
  • Personal information associated with your valuation and pickup requests, including vehicle information and condition answers.
  • Vehicle photos you uploaded and the associated file information.
  • Linked verification and support information, subject to the limited retention reasons below.

Deleting an account removes access to that account. If you have an active pickup, tell support so they can explain how deletion affects that request. If you only want a particular record deleted or corrected, say so in your email.

Records that may need to be retained

Some records may need to be retained to comply with applicable law, prevent fraud or misuse, or resolve an outstanding service matter or dispute. If this applies, support will explain which records are retained, the reason, and the applicable retention period.

Deletion from RecyclerClub does not erase records that a government authority or an independent scrapping facility is required to maintain. We can explain which organisation handles a record when responding to your request.

The 30-day expiry of our vehicle-lookup cache is separate from account and request deletion. Submitting a deletion request is how you ask us to review the associated account and service records.
